Wandering beautiful Pink Lake in September with Luke and Tyler was quite a fun adventure. This intimate engagement session was met with contrasting colours and a moody sky.
The Pink Lake trails climb highs, showcasing vast views before bringing you back down to the shoreline for a different perspective. Between high-cliffs, boulders and calm turquoise water, this hike reminds me dearly of our years living on Vancouver Island.
Next summer, Luke and Tyler will tie the knot at the wonderful Strathmere wedding venue. Filled with golden fields and big sky. Although it will be a summer wedding, we just captured a stunning October wedding at the same venue and cannot wait to cover another wedding there.
September is easily one of my favourite months to celebrate, as well as take photos in. Summer waves goodbye and when sleeping with our windows open, we get the real treat of a cool breeze. September is a month of change and a sweet reminder that colder days are on their way.
Luke & Tyler have their own history with Gatineau Park. Being an adventurous couple, they’ve spent lots of time exploring the winding trails. It made perfect sense that their September engagement session is just as daring and intimate as them.
