Becky + Brad’s Wedding Photos
Becky and Brad tied the knot in London, Ontario at the Greenhills Golf Club this July. We traveled to London from Ottawa early Friday morning and made our way from one sweet city to another. Similar to their engagement session, the day was threatened with rain. There was a mix of warm, humid winds, moody clouds, and rain, lots of rain.
Walking into the Mother of the Bride’s home that morning felt warm, you could tell there were many big hearts in that room- as well as a feeling that this was a long time coming. Excitement over long overdue hopes and dreams. Becky and her bridesmaids were unbelievably welcoming, as I dove into photographing that day.
Even as we made our way to Boler Mountain and up Elbow Hill, you could feel the energy in the air. Brad stood in the pouring rain waiting for his bride, behind him were laughs and chatter among his pals- but he was waiting for her.
As Becky approached, with London laid out behind them, she tapped on her shoulder and he broke into the largest smile.
The staff at Boler Mountain were amazing and even offered to drive the wedding party up and down Elbow Hill. Mega thanks to that fantastic staff! As the ceremony begun, it was as if the sky broke and calmed itself into a dream. Hushing voices around the crowd welcomed the bride and her father as they walked down the aisle. The party was abrupt as the weather that day, guests danced, sung and celebrated together is pure joy.
And do not get me started on these fireworks – what a perfect moment to have your first dance.
Congratulations to Becky and Brad! I am so happy for you two, and Max and I wish you the best. You two held a wonderful celebration!
