We caught a golden sunset this past January for a lovely Engagement Session. Within the hour we photographed, the light had changed from joyful warm tones to cool, crisp blues.
It began by finding an adorable Bengal cat being walked on a leash along the fence line, then we stumbled into the couple and quickly began shooting. Throughout this Engagement Session, capturing this couple’s adoration for each other was simple, you can see it in each step they take through the woods and along the beach.
We caught the sun in it’s prime at the Dallas Cliffs and Beacon Hill Park in Victoria, BC. A perfect spot to showcase some romance, and adventure without having to leave the city limits. An easy recommendation to anyone from out-of-town, take a quick walk to the shoreline to discover something new.
You can’t help but have a heart for photography when the gorgeous sun reminds you with a beautiful scene to capture. We tunneled into the woods and found a spot for to grab some shots. Sure enough, this playful couple began swinging from branches above and laughing over the faces they made in their attempts. Perfect photo build up!
And that’s the thing about Engagement Sessions and photography, rain or shine, it’s the photo’s subject that will bring warmth to the image. During the Engagement Session, each nod and note of appreciation was evident. I think it’s wonderful to see a young couple in such love.
