Chloe + Tony’s Wedding Photos, Port Renfrew BC

Port Renfrew’s hushing waves and whispering trees can easily turn moody, but not today. Today blue, purple skies broke to shine down upon little Port Renfrew. Particularly, the Beachcamp neighbourhood and it’s colourful homes.

I first met a nervous Tony and his many groomsmen in front of his parent’s home, which would later be the site for the ceremony. They led me, twirling their umbrellas, half a dozen houses down to a little cottage packed with bridesmaids and the lovely Chloe. Later, I met Tony and his merry men by the beach.

Back at the house, I squeezed through many happy bridesmaids and grabbed a few candids before taking them to the same beach along Port Renfrew’s shores. After the First Look, the sun came out and joined us for group portraits and so on. It even teased us during the ceremony and chased us into the evening.

The ceremony was stunning, everyone gathered around the couple overlooking the San Juan River joining the Pacific Ocean. Another union of sorts. The reception was held at Bridgeman’s down the road, making it a very local affair.

The stars guided me back to Sooke, the glorious journey back (with a quick break to watch the waves in Jordan River). Backyard, Port Renfrew weddings are a treat.
