Congratulations to the wonderful John & Bonnie! Little Alice is a lucky girl to have such loving parents, which is evident in all of the photos. We met at the Roundhouse in Esquimalt, BC and sparks instantly began to fly! And as you know, at Cliffhouse Photography, we love family engagement sessions.
Little Alice sat comfortably between her parents, confused by the sound of the shutter and by the appearance of the camera she began to grace us with some looks that echoed her personality.
“Dad, why is this thing pointed at my face?”
As a photographer, I understand the challenge of photographing children and capturing both their candid cuteness and the heartwarming portraits their parents crave. But as myself, I am head over heels in love with all the giggles, big brown eyes, and even fussiness.
You can’t get anything cuter than Alice’s big brown eyes!
We wandered the Roundhouse before making our way to the waterfront. We hoped for heavy rain but ended up getting a light drizzle that the cold weather overcompensated with a cold wind.
But that did not defuse the couples’ ambition! We carried on, ending the shoot with a stop at Spinnakers for a pint and a shot- because nothing can warm you up faster.
We wish this couple many good wishes, but have no doubt they will lead amazing lives as one big happy family!
