Amber + Joel’s Elopement Photos
A Surprise-Party turned Elopement.

This elopement had Amber and Joel’s guests in for a surprise as they rounded the corner and saw the couple in wedding attire. Amber had invited a few friends to surprise Joel for a birthday/ family picnic in the park. However, their guests were in for a surprise themselves and ended up witnesses these two elope.
Young William was just as stunned as Joel to see beautiful Amber radiating in her wedding dress. William matched his Dad but wanted a chance to hold the bouquet.
A few days before they married, Amber and Joel found the owners of a local spot they love to explore with their son William. Tucked behind their backyard, footpaths circle gardens, meadows, and forest. The owners gladly agreed to host their small wedding. Almonte often proves to be home to some great folk with big hearts.
Even with restrictions lifting as we entered Stage Three, some loved ones were as far away as Australia and joined in on the celebration through a video call. 2020 has been a year for changing plans, to say the least. Planning a wedding amidst a pandemic is no easy feat, but it’s no shock that I always love an elopement.
