Alexandra + Matt’s Wedding Photos
From the luxe and dramatic to bright and cheery, this Brookstreet (Kanata, ON) wedding delivered a happily married couple and a guest list who didn’t stop dancing.
This was the first wedding we shot that had to move the ceremony indoors for extreme weather conditions, and Brookstreet Hotel (Kanata, ON) is perhaps the best place for this to happen. Wandering the hotel, under glowing chandeliers and a contrast design that pops provided amazing portraits with the exception of wandering into the hot breeze for a few portraits over the golf course.
The ceremony was moved into a golden, regal room that brought on a feeling of pure luxury. As the bride, Alexandra, entered the proceedings, the crowd fell in awe as the groom found himself in tears. Once those two were facing each other, the groom, Mattieu, leaned in for a kiss and got a quick reminder that he had to wait till the end of the ceremony.
Once Mattieu finally got his kiss, the couple was congratulated with many hugs and kisses before departing for their family and couple portraits. From there, the rocking reception began with a few dinner games, heart-touching speeches and a dance floor that never seemed to clear.
Alexandra initially reached out for the 5 hour/ Mystic Package, but ended up adding an additional hour as well as the service of our second shooter, Max. Multiplying the amazing moments captured!
