This intimate, candid engagement session took place in the winding trails of Pink Lake, QC.
Pink Lake reminds me of my years on Vancouver Island, BC. Trails cut close to the water, weave through tall trees and reach high points- all providing their own vista. It really was a perfect autumn evening for exploring this park. Fall engagement sessions are popular for all the right reasons- we are swarmed in colours!
Erin and Louis fell into each other during the session, these two were locked into each other as we ventured the whole trail. Both of them are well-versed in the history and knowledge of this spot, sharing with me some great facts about Gatineau Park, the mica mines and even the depths of Pink Lake.
Erin was a little nervous to be in the crosshairs of the lens, even as a photographer I can sincerely relate! Although, with her soul-mate by her side and my direction we created a magical session. Engagement sessions are a great chance to explore some shots and have some ‘tricks up your sleeve for the big wedding day!
These lovebirds are literary fans, sharing a deep love for their favourite reads. This will be the theme for their June 2019 wedding, and we cannot wait to capture their wedding this June 2019!
